TENTH RACE:    
 THE PREAKNESS 

Here's how we see the race developing:
As they settle after the break Cape Town and Black Cash go to the front with 
Classic Cat either splitting them or sitting in just behind.  Coronado's Quest 
and Real Quiet will be sitting a few lengths back within striking distance, and
Victory Gallop will be 8 to 10 lengths off the lead, so as not to have as much
room to make up as in the Derby.  Real Quiet is likely to be hung a little 
outside in the early going.
Along the backstrech Cape Town will begin to get the better of Black Cash and 
Classic Cat will move up to challenge.  As they enter the turn both Coronado's 
Quest and Real Quiet will make strong moves, with the former having a slight 
trip edge on the inside.
Coming off the turn the two will hook up in the lead down the stretch as Cape 
Town fades and Classic Cat tries to hold off Victory Gallop who is making 
a strong late move that is too late to catch the leaders.  As they approach the 
wire Corondo's Quest is likely to take advantage of a better trip out last Real
Quiet to win by about a length.  Classic Cat and Victory Gallop end in a 
photo finish for third.
On the other hand . . . .

Having just learned that Coronado's Quest has been scratched with a bruised 
foot, we will revise or projections slightly.
The race will go pretty much as set out above, except that when Real Quiet 
makes his move there will be no one to match him unless Victory Gallop starts 
a little earlier.  Real Quiet will hold off Victory Gallup if he gets close, and 
Classic Cat will hang in for third.
