It certainly looks like Fusaichi Pegasus might be a real threat to take the Triple Crown . He shows solid FTS speed and pace numbers, and the tape showed him running a powerful and tactical race to win the Kentucky Derby. But his 3 to 5 morning line odds are an obstacle. At even money, if you could get it, it may be worth a wager. Check the place and show pools. Second place is likely to go to Red Bullet who skipped the Kentucky Derby for this spot to get revenge against Fusaichi Pegasus for beating him in the Wood Memorial. If something was wrong for him in that race, it may be fixed for this race. Look for a solid longshot to play in exotics, and there are several possibles. In order we like: High Yield, Impeachment (who may be an improving threat, or may have had an easy inside stretch trip), Snuck In and Captain Steve (who was bumped before fading in the stretch).
